THE SERVICEMASTER RESTORE DIFFERENCE

These cleaning procedures are meant to provide a brief outline of work to treat surfaces for Coronavirus (COVID-19). These recommendations are suggestions and minimal guidelines for an experienced and competent remediation contractor to include in their work plans and procedures and are not a site-specific specification. A site-specific specification will be prepared, at time of service

The above procedures are based on the current known published information about the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2/ COVID-19 and changes may be necessary as new developments are made, and data is released.

All the products we use are EPA registered, approved, and listed on the EPA’s List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2. Products on this list have Emerging Viral Pathogens AND Human Coronavirus claims for use against SARS-CoV-2. This list can be found on the EPA’s website, along with instructions on how to check for a product’s EPA registration number.

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Soft goods, upholstery, and carpeting cannot be disinfected
  • Food preparation surfaces should be cleaned and disinfected using a food contact surface approved solution
  • Paper products left exposed at the time of treatment may be adversely impacted by the process
  • This cleaning is not designed for aesthetic purposes. Surfaces should be tested prior to application of any product
  • Antimicrobial treatment is an excellent interrupter in the process of pathogen transfer but is not a substitute for hygiene. The reintroduction of infected persons into the space requires additional treatment and may result in cross-contamination
